A mom who held a lady captive as a slave inside her "squalid" dwelling for 25 years has been sentenced to 13 years in jail.
Amanda Wixon, 56, pressured the lady to shave her hair, beat her if she did not full jobs, and made her stay off "scraps" of meals.
Police have described it as one of many worst instances of modern-day slavery they’ve ever seen.
