Taylor Frankie Paul is breaking her silence on the home violence investigation involving her and ex Dakota Mortensen.

"It’s been extremely heavy," she tells ET at a press preview for ‘The Bachelorette’ in NYC on Tuesday evening. "I feel like I’ve been misunderstood for years now and it just would be so freeing to tell the whole story of it. I’ve just done a lot of protecting for my child and my family to really not get into that."
