New York station WABC spoke with two individuals who stated they had been on the aircraft that collided with a truck at LaGuardia Airport.
LaGuardia Airport will reopen at 2 p.m. ET, in response to airport authorities and the FAA. The airport will resume operations with a single runway, the FAA stated.
Flight delays and cancellations are anticipated as operations resume slowly and at a diminished capability.
