Badenoch grills Starmer over North Sea oil: ‘He’s PM, he can change the laws’

Kemi Badenoch opened Prime Minister’s Questions with a reference to the oil disaster, asking if he’ll "approve the licences for Rosebank and Jackdaw gas fields in the North Sea".

Sir Keir Starmer mentioned below statute, it’s a matter for the power secretary, which is "the same arrangement as was in place under the last government".
