Ministers unveil findings on international interference in UK politics after emergency overview

Sir Philip Rycroft, a former senior civil servant, is to publish his overview on how susceptible British politics is to international interference, together with by means of political donations.

The overview was commissioned in December after the jailing of Reform UK’s former Welsh chief Nathan Gill for taking bribes to make pro-Russian statements. It will embrace proposals to bolster Britain’s defences in opposition to international interference.
