The Artemis II crew has made contact with NASA’s mission management after travelling across the far facet of the moon.
Their Orion spacecraft reached its most distance from Earth at 252,760 miles, passing 4,070 miles away from the moon, and was out of contact with the Earth for round 40 minutes.
The astronauts at the moment are returning house.
