See how NASA capsules decelerate to earth for a seamless splashdown

As the Orion capsule returns to Earth and prepares for splashdown, most velocity is predicted to succeed in as a lot as 35,000 toes per second. To start slowing down for Orion’s descent, parachutes will deploy at about 24,000 toes. NASA Orion Parachute Systems Manager Jared Daum joins CNN’s Randi Kaye and explains how they work.
