A United Airlines flight touchdown at Newark Liberty International Airport hit a streetlight and a tractor-trailer on the close by freeway on Sunday, injuring the truck’s driver, in response to the New Jersey State Police.
United Flight 169 was arriving from Venice, Italy, carrying greater than 200 passengers and 10 crew members. The aircraft, a Boeing 767, was going greater than 160 miles an hour when it crossed over the New Jersey Turnpike, simply outdoors of the airport, in response to flight monitoring website Flightradar24.
No one on board the flight was damage, and the aircraft landed usually, United stated in an announcement.
