Canary Islands chief rejects docking of contaminated cruise ship

Live view of the MV Hondius from Praia because the cruise ship with practically 150 folks waits for help off Cape Verde’s coast within the Atlantic Ocean – after three passengers died and three others have been left critically sick in a suspected hantavirus outbreak.

The vessel was as a result of sail to the Canary Islands, however the regional authorities has rejected the plan.
