A video from April 12, taken by a passenger on board the MV Hondius, the hantavirus-hit cruise ship, exhibits the ship’s captain saying the demise of somebody on board yesterday. Captain Jan Dobrogowski says the demise is believed to be as a result of “natural causes.” Oceanwide Expeditions, the ship’s operator, stated in an announcement, “At the time of the announcement, the cause of death of this individual was unknown.” At the time of publication, the trigger nonetheless wasn’t confirmed to be hantavirus.
