There are at present 18 individuals being monitored for hantavirus in US medical services, officers mentioned at a press briefing Monday. Seventeen are Americans and one is a British dual-national.
Sixteen of these people are on the University of Nebraska — one is within the biocontainment unit after testing optimistic and 15 are within the quarantine unit. Each of these people are at present asymptomatic. They’ve obtained transient medical assessments, with additional assessments deliberate for later within the day after they’ve had the prospect to relaxation.
