Water levels in the Rhine are dropping dramatically following weeks of hot, dry weather across Europe.
Just 12 months ago, the area was devastated by floods, with more than 100 people killed – now some stretches of the river are just 40cm deep, and official warn that it may soon have to be closed to cargo ships.
