A jury will decide if Cruz will be sentenced to death or life in prison for murdering 17 people and wounding 17 others at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Feb. 14, 2018. On Wednesday, a former neighbor testified that Cruz “did not go bad. He was never right."
