Israel stated Monday its troopers killed at the very least 21 Hamas militants who launched an assault from inside a hospital in Gaza City.
The Israel Defense Forces stated their troops had been conducting operations close to Al Quds Hospital once they had been engaged by small arms hearth and rocket-propelled grenades.
IDF officers stated the assault was carried out by a terrorist squad that had embedded itself inside a gaggle of civilians on the entrance of the hospital.
“The soldiers identified a terrorist squad with two RGP launchers amongst the civilians. As a result of the shooting carried out by the terrorists, a tank was damaged,” the IDF stated in an announcement.
The IDF stated armed Hamas militants joined a gaggle of civilians fleeing the hospital and continued firing on the Israeli troops.
“After the terrorists fired RPGs, they returned to hide in the hospital,” the IDF stated.
Other Israeli forces moved into the realm and joined the battle that finally resulted within the Hamas militants being routed on the hospital. The IDF stated there have been no Israeli casualties within the battle.
