COVID Inquiry: COVID bereaved say Johnson apology was ’empty’

Four members from COVID bereaved households stood up in silent protest as Boris Johnson began giving proof to the COVID inquiry, holding indicators saying they didn’t settle for his apology.

The group had been then requested to depart by the inquiry’s chair, Lady Hallett.

Sky’s Kamali Melbourne spoke to the ladies outdoors the venue, with Michelle Rumball, whose mom died with COVID, describing Mr Johnson’s apology as "empty".
