Mexican immigration brokers detain 2 Iranians who they are saying had been below remark by the FBI

MEXICO CITY — Mexico’s immigration company mentioned Friday its brokers have detained two Iranians who they are saying had been below remark by the FBI.

The National Immigration Institute didn’t say what the supposed FBI investigation was about.

The company mentioned a complete of 5 Iranians had been detained together with their Haitian driver, who was apparently appearing as their information on a freeway between the Baja California border cities of Tijuana and Tecate on Wednesday.

It mentioned their automotive was stopped at a toll sales space as a result of brokers suspected they had been going to attempt to cross into the United States.

The company mentioned two of the Iranians had been “under observation by the Federal Bureau of Investigations.”

The FBI didn’t instantly affirm the knowledge.
