‘I really feel it is my job to ensure humanity by no means leaves the room,’ says Misan Harriman

Filmmaker and activist Misan Harriman joins Sarah-Jane Mee to debate his editorial debut The After, which is tipped for an Oscar and the way he intends to make use of his platform.

He mentioned, "I really feel it is my job to ensure humanity by no means leaves the room – I’m so happy with all of the younger folks I see in these protests.

"I feel like life has got hold of [older people’s] lives and we’ve lost the empathy that makes us special."
