Teenage darts sensation Luke Littler was denied a fairytale victory on the World Darts Championship after defeat to Luke Humphries within the ultimate.

The 16-year-old produced extra of the spectacular darts that impressed his run to the ultimate, as he moved right into a 4-2 lead.

But world primary Humphries fought again to win 7-4 and take the title together with £500,000 in prize cash.
