America is the world’s largest natural-gas producer, however New Englanders’ capability to remain heat in winter might hinge on the destiny of an costly, 53-year-old import plant that its proprietor has threatened to close down.
Constellation Energy plans to retire a Massachusetts energy plant on the finish of May. That will get rid of the largest person of the liquefied pure gasoline, or LNG, that’s imported by the corporate’s neighboring Everett Marine Terminal.
