Deflation Worries Deepen in China

HONG KONG—China is sinking deeper into its worst deflation in years, spelling bother for the entire world as demand falters in its second-largest economic system.

With many Chinese frightened in regards to the financial outlook and unwilling to spend, shopper costs fell for a 3rd straight month in December, official knowledge confirmed Friday. Prices charged by producers dropped for the fifteenth month in a row.
