A volcano erupted in southwest Iceland on January 14, sending molten lava into a close-by city and forcing the realm to be evacuated. Some homes had been set ablaze within the second eruption the realm has seen in weeks. According to nationwide broadcaster, RÚV, the lava circulation has now decreased.
