The inquiry into the Post Office Horizon scandal has heard that Fujitsu staff may remotely entry postmasters’ accounts as early as 2002.
Staff on the Japanese software program firm may change the accounts of sub-postmasters with out them figuring out.
The firm had initially mentioned its staff didn’t have entry to accounts.
More than 700 Post Office sub-postmasters have been prosecuted after a defective pc system made it appear to be cash was lacking.
Business Secretary Kemi Badenoch has written to Fujitsu to demand talks on compensation.
