Jailed Putin critic Alexei Navalny has died in jail, Russian officers have stated.
"On February 16, 2024, in correctional colony No 3, convict A A Navalny felt unwell after a walk, almost immediately losing consciousness," an announcement says.
"The establishment’s medical employees instantly arrived and an emergency medical group was referred to as.
"All mandatory resuscitation measures had been carried out, however they didn’t yield optimistic outcomes.
"Emergency medical doctors confirmed the death of the convict," it concluded.
