Huw Edwards has been charged with three counts of constructing indecent photos of youngsters.
The former BBC newsreader is accused of getting six class A photos, 12 class B photos and 19 class C photos on his WhatsApp.
He will seem at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 31 July.
