Hezbollah has fired round 30 rockets into Israel from Lebanon with the Israeli air defence system intercepting all of them.
In an announcement claiming duty for the rocket assault, Hezbollah made clear it was not in response to the assassination of their senior commander, Ismail Haniyeh, however to Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon.
