The authorities says it has agreed a pay deal that the practice drivers’ union Aslef will advocate to its members, after two years of turmoil.
The transport secretary Louise Haigh mentioned this was an instance of the brand new authorities’s promise to "move and fix things", and it’s understood to be round a 15% rise over three years.
