Doctors in India have begun 24 hours of strikes to protest towards the rape and homicide of a feminine colleague in Kolkata.
The Indian Medical Association mentioned elective medical procedures and out-patient consultations could be cancelled on Saturday.
Protesters are calling on the federal government to introduce higher working situations and higher protections for girls.
