A ‘very harmful’ British prisoner is amongst 5 inmates who’ve escaped from a high-security jail in Portugal.
Mark Cameron Roscaleer, 39, had been serving a nine-year sentence for kidnap and theft on the Vale de Judeus jail, about 43 miles (70km) north of Lisbon.
The 5 males, aged between 33 and 61, fled on Saturday morning and acquired "external help" from accomplices who offered a ladder which "allowed the inmates to scale the wall", based on the Portuguese jail service (DGRSP).
