‘Like the top of the world’: Israelis nonetheless haunted by 7 October Hamas assaults one 12 months on

It is sort of a 12 months since Hamas fighters launched an assault on Israel, sparking the newest battle within the Middle East.

Israelis residing in a kibbutz near the Gaza border say it appeared like "the end of the world", when militants rampaged by means of their neighborhood, killing residents and taking hostages on 7 October.
