The World Health Organisation says it has misplaced contact with personnel at a hospital in Northern Gaza amid studies of a raid there by Israeli forces.
The IDF stated it had been responding to intelligence "regarding the presence of terrorists" within the space.
The WHO director-general stated he had "lost touch" with personnel on the Kamal Adwan Hospital since studies of the assault emerged.
"This development is deeply disturbing given the number of patients being served and people sheltering there," Tedros Ghebreyesus stated on X.
