Far-right activist Tommy Robinson has been jailed for 18 months after admitting contempt of court docket.
Robinson, actual identify Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, pleaded responsible to repeating false allegations in opposition to a Syrian refugee.
The 41-year-old was sued for libel at London’s High Court in 2021 by Jamal Hijazi and was ordered to pay damages.
He was additionally made topic to an injunction stopping him from repeating the libellous statements.
Yaxley-Lennon admitted 10 breaches of that injunction.
