St Lucia’s first ever Olympic medallist virtually pulled out as a result of stress

Talking to Sky’s Jacquie Beltrao, she spoke of the stress she placed on herself earlier than going to the video games saying "there’s no way I feel like I have the mental capacity to go to the line again and to represent my country".

Now, Ms Alfred has visited a college in West London to encourage a brand new era of ladies to get into the game.
