Labour MP introducing assisted dying laws Kim Leadbeater says she has no doubts concerning the invoice and tells Sky’s Trevor Phillips "I wouldn’t have put the bill forward if I did".
When requested about fellow celebration members considerations of a "slippery slope", Ms Leadbeater rejects these arguments saying "the title of the bill is very, very clear", including "it cannot include anybody other than people who are terminally ill".
She requires a "robust" debate on a "hugely important subject", however asks for folks to be "respectful" and "compassionate" all through that debate.
