Nearly six months after Alec Baldwin’s trial for involuntary manslaughter in connection to cinematographer Halyna Hutchins’ demise was dismissed, the actor recordsdata a lawsuit for malicious prosecution. The Jan. 9 lawsuit—which was filed on the state district courtroom in Santa Fe, N.M.— accuses particular prosecutor Kari Morrissey Santa Fe District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies, in addition to investigators from the Santa Fe County sheriff’s workplace and the Santa Fe County Board of County Commissioners of making an attempt to “scapegoat Baldwin for the acts and omissions of others, regardless of the evidence or the law.”
