Tulip Siddiq has resigned as a Treasury minister after controversy over hyperlinks to her aunt’s ousted political motion in Bangladesh.

In a letter to Sir Keir Starmer, the Labour MP mentioned that whereas she had "not breached the ministerial code", it’s clear that persevering with in her submit can be "a distraction from the work of the government".
