Trump falsely claimed the EU was “formed in order to screw the United States,” promising to slap 25% tariffs on the bloc very quickly. Since assuming workplace, Trump has launched a collection of assaults on Europe, accusing it of failing to match US support on Ukraine and blocking US farm exports.
