Man escapes alleged 20 years of captivity utilizing hand sanitizer and printer paper

A person in western Waterbury, Connecticut deliberately set his dwelling on hearth to flee after allegedly being held captive by his stepmother for greater than 20 years. Police mentioned the 32-year-old man was "extremely emaciated" and the Waterbury Chief of Police referred to as it "the worst treatment of humanity" he has witnessed in his 33-year profession.
