In an interview with CNN and testimonials to an Israeli NGO, IDF troopers who have been deployed to Gaza are revealing how the army carried out the destruction of civilian infrastructure to create a buffer zone within the Gaza Strip, from which it has banished Palestinians and killed or fired at those that set foot in its unmarked perimeter. These testimonies reveal Israeli army practices that some authorized consultants say may violate worldwide humanitarian regulation. CNN has reached out to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for remark in regards to the demolitions and a shoot-to-kill coverage within the buffer zone, however has not acquired a response.
