Edan Alexander, the final identified dwelling American hostage in Gaza, was launched by Hamas on Monday, ending an 18-month ordeal that started with the militant group’s October 7 assault.
Hamas introduced Sunday night time it had agreed to free Alexander, 21, after a number of days of talks with the United States as a part of an effort to achieve a ceasefire and resume the stream of humanitarian support into Gaza.
Alexander, carrying a black Adidas t-shirt and a baseball cap, was photographed throughout his handover to the Red Cross, shortly earlier than his convoy left Khan Younis and headed in the direction of Israel.
