Jenrick ‘known as all the pieces from a vigilante to Batman’ after confronting fare dodgers

The shadow justice secretary has advised Sky News that he desires authorities to "take action" after he launched a video earlier this week of himself apprehending fare dodgers at Stratford station.

When requested by Sky’s Trevor Phillips in regards to the video, which he posted on social media, Mr Jenrick stated: "I’ve been called everything from a vigilante to Batman in the last few days."

He added that he was "fed up" with individuals not paying to make use of public transport, and requested: "Why are we paying when other people are getting away with it?"
