Inflation figures ease barely to three.4% in May

According to official figures launched by the Office for National Statistics (ONS), inflation fell from 3.5% in April to three.4% in May.

Sky’s Economics and Data Editor Ed Conway explains that though rates of interest are nonetheless anticipated to fall, it is thought they may ease slower than the Bank of England initially predicted.
