Aunt of murdered Zara Aleena requires motion on violence towards ladies

The aunt of aspiring lawyer Zara Aleena, who was murdered in 2022, has referred to as on the federal government and justice system to take motion on violence towards ladies, saying the system "failed" her niece.

Speaking to Sky’s Emma Birchley, Farah Naz stated: "We need to shine a light on areas that we’re afraid to look at, and we’ve got to have the courage to face actually the reality that the streets are not safe for women and girls".

Her feedback have been made forward of a vigil to mark three years since her niece was sexually assaulted and murdered in Ilford, east London, by Jordan McSweeney, who had just lately been launched from jail.
