Animal rights activists converged on the Wisconsin state capitol Monday, demanding that state officers do what they will to close down a beagle breeding and analysis facility the place most of the protesters clashed with police over the weekend.
An estimated 1,000 activists from across the nation got here to Ridglan Farms in rural Blue Mounds in an try Saturday to free an estimated 2,000 beagles saved there about 25 miles southwest of the capital, Madison.
