Afghanistan coverage shows media still covering for Biden
The recent anniversary of the deaths of 13 U.S. service members in Afghanistan has prompted one analyst to reexamine major broadcast network coverage since that tragic event, which took place on Aug. 26, 2021. Scott Whitlock, research director for Newsbusters.org, a conservative press watchdog, noted that by July 2022, ABC, CBS and NBC’s nighttime news shows had a scant total of seven seconds of coverage.
