An American Airlines flight returned safely to Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport following an "engine issue" on Wednesday morning, the Federal Aviation Administration stated.
Two movies confirmed what seemed to be smoke and flames coming from an engine whereas the aircraft was within the sky.
The aircraft "is being taken out of service to be evaluated by our maintenance team," American Airlines reps stated. The FAA stated it’s investigating.
