Anti-slavery commissioner launches investigation into ‘pimping web sites’

The UK’s anti-slavery commissioner has launched an investigation into so-called pimping web sites.

Conservative MP, Rebecca Paul, says the investigation is "much needed" as there "are real issues at the moment with pimping websites."

The unbiased commissioner described the websites as "chilling" and mentioned 5,000 girls and women had been recognized as victims of sexual exploitation within the final yr alone, which is probably going simply the "tip of the iceberg".
