South Korean investigators have suspended efforts to implement an arrest warrant for impeached president Yoon Suk Yeol on January 3 after a standoff befell between investigators from the Corruption Investigation Office (CIO) and round 200 troopers and members of the presidential safety exterior Yoon’s residence.
