Artemis II is NASA’s first crewed mission of the Artemis program and would be the first time people will journey past low-Earth orbit since Apollo 17 in 1972. The mission will ship 4 astronauts, three Americans and a Canadian, on a greater than 600,000-mile, 10-day journey across the moon (a lunar flyby) to check crucial spacecraft methods.
