The ex-wife of NASA astronaut Anne McClain was sentenced to 3 months in federal jail after falsely accusing McClain of illegally accessing her checking account whereas in house again in 2019, per a Feb. 12 press launch from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas. Summer Heather Worden pled responsible in Nov. 2025 to mendacity to regulation enforcement. The 51-year-old may also face two years of supervised launch and should pay $210,000 in restitution, the press launch acknowledged. Worden had alleged that McClain—with whom she shares a son—had "guessed her password and illegally accessed" her checking account whereas in house on the International Space Station in July 2019 whereas they had been doing by means of a divorce, per the discharge.
