At least 39 individuals have been killed and dozens extra injured after a high-speed practice derailment in Spain.
The rear of a night practice from Malaga to Madrid carrying about 300 passengers went off the rails close to Córdoba on Sunday night, slamming right into a practice with 200 passengers coming from Madrid to Huelva, rail operator Adif mentioned.
Spain’s transport minister Oscar Puente mentioned the reason for the crash was unknown.
